The first time I had the pleasure and privilege of contributing a portrait to a Cancer Gets Lost charity auction, I was so glad to be able to take time to create in service to such an important cause. My digital painting of Lindsey Morgan as Raven Reyes, from the TV show The 100, sold with one of the highest bids in the auction. Although the CGL auction at Unity Days 2018 was a smaller event for the organization, fans of The 100 at the convention bid for a total of $11,330 for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in that auction alone.
Cancer Gets Lost's 2018 online charity auction is a much larger event, and this time around there are five prints from me up for grabs:
Links to each item:
Tim Rozon as Doc Holliday (Wynonna Earp) (SIGNED by Tim Rozon)
'We Believe You' Sweet/Vicious Art (SIGNED by Eliza Bennet, Taylor Dearden, Aisha Dee, Showrunner Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, and Executive Producers Stacey Sher and Amanda Lasher)
A special thanks to Rick H for commissioning the Wynonna Earp and Westworld portraits and B. Dailey for commissioning the Sweet/Vicious drawing.
Note: The Wynonna Earp and Westworld prints are CGL exclusive. The only other person with these prints is Rick!
As some of you might know, I lost someone I loved very much to cancer just a few months ago. When I created the portraits specifically for donation to CGL, I didn't realize the 2018 auction would be opening shortly after she passed. Now having my work in the auction feels a little more special, especially because she was so supportive of my art.
Please take some time to review the various TV and film items up for auction through July 11th and consider channeling your love of great stories into support for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Cancer Gets Lost is a 501c3-sponsored organization (via http://FJC.org ) that raises money for cancer charities via auctions of television and film memorabilia.
